For Teachers

Your students & their progress

See every learner across your classes, open a student's full progress dashboard, and read the class mood.

Once your classrooms are set up, PEN Play gives you two views of how your learners are doing: the class picture and the individual picture.

All your students

Open Students to see every learner across all your classes in one place. From here you can:

  • Assign seats to students.
  • Run bulk actions across many students at once.
  • Open any student to see their full details.

A student's progress

Tap a student to open their progress dashboard - the same rich view parents get for their own children:

  • Active games and objectives mastery
  • Domain progress and progress over time
  • Benchmark comparison for their age or grade
  • Playtime, weekly report and session history
  • Mood and emotional comprehension

For a full explanation of each section, see Understanding your child's progress and Mood & emotional insights - the sections work the same way for teachers.

Class mood

Your teacher dashboard includes a class mood tracker - a quick read on how the class is feeling as a whole, alongside a table of your classes and anything pending. It's a simple way to spot when a group might need extra support.

Tip

Use the class mood tracker as an early-warning signal. If the mood dips across a class, it's a good moment to check in.

Note

Student data appears as learners play. A quiet dashboard usually just means there hasn't been much activity yet.
